Spiral CT of Liver in Differentiation of hepatic masses

Abstract
|
|
|
In this study, we observed contrast enhanced pattern and hemodynamic change of hepatic tumors (31 hepatomas, 9 hemanigioma, 8 cholangiocarcinoma, 10 abscess, and 13 metastatic tumors) in 71 patients. Preenhanced, early and late postenhanced
spiral
volumetric CT was performed after bolus injection of contrast material. In hepatoma, early enhanced scan showed hypervascular change and late phase scan showed capsular enhancement. In hemangioma, peripherally hyperdense in early phase the most
common
pattern. In metastatic liver malignancies, cholangiocarcinomas, and hepatic abscesses also show their specific finding.
